Essentially Nurtured Soul

Essentially Nurtured Soul was created as a way to provide my friends and family with better choices on personal products. I had always been so thoughtful about what I consumed daily, but I definitely wasn't focusing enough on what kinds of chemicals were being absorbed by my skin . When I finally did go searching, I wasn't happy about what existed out there -- products that were greenwashed (looked clean but were filled with sneaky harmful ingredients) or cost a fortune. So, I set out to change that and created an all natural, organic line of body butters & scrubs that are also Reiki infused.

I was introduced to Reiki back in August of 2014, as my employer at the time gifted me with a Reiki session. I was a bit skeptical, but figured that I would give it a try since I was struggling with a lot of anxiety, lacking self love, and also some depression. After my first session, I basically felt like I was floating & felt like I had not a care in the world, completely relaxed & at peace. That was my turning point -- I felt compelled at that moment to begin my Reiki journey. In October of 2014, I signed up for my level one class, which was basically learning about what Reiki was & about its founder Dr. Usui. I procrastinated signing up for another course because of family responsibilities, work, etc. but finally in January of 2016, I completed level two and then continued to level three that same year. In April  of 2017, I completed my Master/Teacher certification. Since then, I have seen the world in a different light & I finally changed my way of thinking from the self doubt of so many years prior to Reiki to learning how to love myself again. Reiki has changed my life forever. I have learned to be a better parent, wife, and person in so many ways. I really do believe that this was my true calling and I can’t imagine how my life would be today without Reiki.
